Jacques Leuba

Jacques is a private banker with Clariden Leu Geneva, specialising in services for international professional advisers, financial planners and intermediaries world-wide .Educated in the UK, with a degree in Politics and Economics (Oxon 1973), he trained as a commercial banker in the 70's in Switzerland and South America and held senior banking positions with two Swiss banks in the UK. He spent 3 years on secondment to the British Foreign Office as a financial regulator in the Caribbean, in charge of the supervision of offshore banks, trust companies and insurance companies. This was followed by 5 years in Jersey where he set up the private banking and trust operations of a large Luxembourg bank, then moving back to Switzerland as senior relationship manager working with large clients, trustees and family offices.
Jacques is a member of STEP (on Geneva Committee), the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA) and an associate member of the International Bar Association. He has published several articles and is co-editor of "Tax Planning for Hedge Fund Managers", an ITPA publication.
