- Janice Kan, VP and Head, Product Development, Singapore Exchange.
Ms Kan leads the product development unit, which is responsible for identifying, structuring, and nurturing the growth of product offerings for the Exchange. Her product portfolio includes market access instruments such as exchange traded funds (ETFs) as well as derivatives futures and options contracts.
She began her career with the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX) in 1992. SIMEX subsequently merged with Stock Exchange of Singapore in 1999 to form Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX).
Prior to her current appointment, she held portfolios in market surveillance and audit in SIMEX; and risk management, products and strategy planning in the Exchange.
Ms Kan holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Financial Risk Manager.
