Jason Gerlach is the Director of Operations for Sunrise Capital Partners. Sunrise manages over $1 billion and has been a leader in managed futures since 1980. Since 1 January 1995, Sunrise has averaged annual compound net returns of over 14% and during that same period, Sunrise has delivered positive results in 87% of all rolling 12 month periods.
Jason, a Sunrise investor for over 15 years, joined Sunrise in 2008. From 2005 to 2008, Jason founded Allie's Edibles, an artisan chocolate company featured by various American media outlets. From 2000 to 2005, Jason was a corporate litigator with Howard Rice of San Francisco and from 1997 to 2000, a corporate litigator with Wilmer Hale of Boston. In 1996, Jason was a law clerk with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Jason holds a J.D. cum laude and an M.A. in Public Affairs and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.
