Rick Mayo-Smith
- Managing Director, Indochina Land, the real estate division of Indochina Capital Corporation.
Rick has been living and investing in Asia for the past 25 years and has specifically been involved in Vietnam related investment activities since 1992. Rick serves as the Managing Director of Indochina Land, the real estate division of Indochina Capital, and oversees the formulation of Indochina Infrastructure, a newly organized division focused on Vietnam’s environmental, transportation and social infrastructure. Since Indochina Capital’s establishment in 1999, Rick has played an active management role in nearly all aspects of the company’s business and served as the CEO of Indochina Land from 2005 to 2007.
Prior to Indochina Capital, Rick served as Morgan Stanley's advisor in the Indochina region from 1995-1998 and, from 1998-1999, was contracted by Citicorp Capital to source deal flow and conduct due diligence on investment opportunities in the Indochina region.
Rick was the founding Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. He received a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from New York University's Stern School of Business.
